Welcome to the Woburn Historical Society
Founded in 2006, the Woburn Historical Society makes history fun and educational and strives to promote civic pride in Woburn's rich history. We have a wide array of photos that document much of Woburn's history. Our videos tell many stories about the city and its rich history of civic and military service participation, farming, and industry.

Come join in the fun of Irish tradition as the Woburn Historical Society presents the Merry Minstrels performing music, songs, and dance inspired by the Emerald Isle in "A Musical Celebration of St Patrick's Day".
Vocals and music performed on accordion, bodhran, flute, fiddle, banjo, bass ukelele, concertina, guitar, mandolin, and whistles will include selections spanning three centuries, from traditional Celtic tunes to songs composed in America, inspired by Irish roots. As always, the Merry Minstrels will provide some historical background relating to the songs and invite you to sing along with well-known favorites.
The program will take place on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2 pm, in the auditorium at the Hurld-Wyman Elementary School, 39 Wyman St, Woburn 01801. Admission is free. Off-street parking is free and the Hurld-Wyman School is handicapped accessible.
Bring family and friends to enjoy this variety of Irish music and bring your voices! Song sheets will be provided for the Sing-Along, and light refreshments.
